We
would like to invite individuals, musicians,
collectors, researchers, authors and companies especially from
the Caribbean to submit relevant unpublished or rare material for
consideration. We
are seeking specific original albums, tapes, out-of-print books,
articles, photographs and unpublished vintage, field or local classic
recordings from earliest dates up to 1980 for: Image restoration,
typesetting and audio remastering, employing high-end resolution
reprographics and current specification audio tools. For a list of

Persons
or companies wishing to submit material can command a fee of
£15 per item up to a maximum of £25 UK Sterling
(depending on the suitability and rarity of item). This fee covers
remuneration for USE ONLY of your master recording or print material
and does not represent an out-right sum of purchase. It is however,
also subject to an amount of material or content deemed useful. Those
providing additional back up material (ie. period press articles,
photographs, bios, reviews) relating to specific recordings or album
release dates/activity, may command a maximum fee of £20 UK
Sterling. This however is also subject to an amount of useful material.
For
unpublished works, persons or companies owning copyright to material or
recordings shall be offered, where necessary, a suitable mechanical
license, publishing or copyright assignment contract. Notes detailing
(as much as possible) authors, illustrators, designers, songwriters,
composers/arrangers,
accompanists, performers, photographers and full provider’s
information MUST be included.
All
postal and shipping costs shall be met and reimbursed by Sunworks
Media, along with your master recordings & material which is
always returned in secure packaging. Provider licensors must allow up
to 28 working days from date of receipt by Sunworks Media of their
material for return delivery via our Insured International Couriers. We
recommend that caribbean suppliers use similar recognised insured
international couriers for assured delivery of your material. Normally
we pay internet transactions via PAYPAL, however providers/licensors
must indicate their preferred method of payment either by Bank
Transfer, Cheque, Postal Order, International MoneyGram or Western
Union.
